We are seeking a passionate Catering Tutor to join the education team at HMYOI Feltham, delivering engaging and practical catering training to learners and helping them develop valuable skills for employment and life beyond custody.

The Role

As a Catering Tutor, you will:

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based catering lessons.
• Teach learners from Entry Level through to vocational qualifications.
• Support learners in developing professional kitchen skills and food preparation techniques.
• Deliver training in areas such as food safety, kitchen operations, food preparation, and hospitality.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare learners for assessments and qualifications.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the training kitchen.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages achievement and progression.

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates with:

• Experience working within catering, hospitality, or professional kitchen environments.
• A Level 2 qualification in Catering, Professional Cookery, Hospitality, or a related subject as a minimum.
• Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring, or teaching (desirable).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for helping others succeed.
